African Botanicals

Baobab Oil

Canadian Prairie berries

Canadian Prairie berries, including saskatoon berries, cranberries, and sea buckthorn, are wild-harvested in the pristine, nutrient-dense soils of the Canadian Prairies. Exposed to intense sunlight and extreme seasonal conditions, these berries develop extraordinarily high levels of antioxidants, phytonutrients, and skin repairing compounds. They help fight free radicals, soothe inflammation, brighten dull skin, and support collagen production, making them an ideal counterpart to our African actives.

Bakuchiol

Bakuchiol is a natural compound from the Psoralea corylifolia (babchi) plant, long used in Ayurvedic and Chinese medicine. It’s often called a plant-based alternative to retinol because it gives similar anti aging results but is gentler and suitable for sensitive skin.

Niacinamide

Niacinamide is a form of Vitamin B3 (niacin). It’s found naturally in foods like grains, legumes, fish, and green vegetables. It is usually lab-synthesized for purity and stability. Niacinamide is loved because it’s gentle, versatile, and works for all skin types, including sensitive and acne-prone skin.

Naturally found in plants like bearberry, blueberry, and cranberry, it is usually lab-synthesized for stability and purity. Alpha Arbutin is often called a powerful yet gentle skin-brightener, making it a safer option for targeting discoloration without harsh side effects.
